We are looking forward to hosting our second meet of the season against Edgehill tomorrow evening. As we continue to progress through the summer I would like to share a few reminders about how our coaching staff strategically identifies and prepares for each meet.

Summer swim is a community building activity that is a fun and competitive opportunity for our swimmers and families. As coaches, our job is to put the team in the best position to win each meet. To prepare the best line up, we (all coaching staff members) review meet results from previous years, current season times & results, swimmer involvement, and potential gaps based on needs for each age group and stroke.

We value swimmer input and recommendations but can’t always accommodate based on the process outlined above. Our coaching staff takes a collaborative approach to each meet line up and will give each swimmer every opportunity to compete and qualify for VPSU Champs. 

Please be at the pool for warm-ups by 4:40 we get in at 4:45!
